On the morning of Dec.28, 2021, employees of Cambodian Zulite Stone get booster shots of the Covid-19 vaccination under the organization of the Cambodian government. The booster shot campaign in ZSEZ has lasted for three days from December 26 to December 28 and 17 companies in ZSEZ staggered arrangements for vaccination to reduce mass gathering. The employees of Cambodian Zulite Stone are strictly adhering to the implementation of social distancing, wearing a mask lining up, and avoiding standing in the crowd. After procedures of temperature measurement, medical professional's inquiries, information registration, then employees are allowed to jab and asked to sit and wait a 30 minutes observation period, to watch for rare allergic reactions. The waiting period allows the medical team to observe vaccinated individuals and treat them immediately, in case of any complications.
This booster shot of vaccines campaign was carried out in response to a statement of Aug 25, 2021, “In order to rapidly build a ‘ real herd immunity ’ which is a key foundation to protect the people’s lives from COVID-19, particularly the Delta variant or other variants, as well as to get prepared for the plan to reopen all sectors and to live with COVID-19 in a new normal norm, the Royal Government decides to launch the COVID-19 booster shot policy to the general public aged 12 years old and above,” the Prime Minister Hun Sen readout said.
The campaign will run until mid-2022 and is conducted on a voluntary and free-of-charge basis. Although it is a voluntary action, Cambodian Zulite Stone always actively responds and takes employee safety as the starting point, and actively promotes all employees to participate with a sense of responsibility and safety.
Let all of us fight together and if all of us get the vaccination then we can stop the spread. Maintaining our protection from Covid-19 will help us get back to some sort of normality.
