General Department of Custom and Excise of Cambodia (GDCE, the Cambodian Customs Administration) visited our factory Cambodian Zulite Stone Co., Ltd. for inspection on August 27 so they can sign final official production approval to our company. This is a necessary and must-have step in order to implement and standardize the production and operation behaviors of overseas investment enterprises within the jurisdiction and ensure the authenticity and legality of their production. Zulite Stone manager warmly welcomes the Cambodian Customs Administration and explained how our company policies comply with Cambodian regulations on labor relations, safety operations, etc.
Firstly, the Cambodian Customs Administration checked our import records of raw material to ensure whether the product nature, origin, condition, quantity, and value of the imported raw material are consistent with the details already filled in on the goods declaration form. Secondly, they examined whether the wages are paid in accordance with regulations to guarantee the workers' rights. Finally, the Cambodian Customs Administration conducted on-site inspections of whole production areas to learn more about the quartz stone production process, as well as our Zulite Stone future production capacity.
