Despite the emergence of many new countertop materials in the market, granite still maintains about 30% of the market share. The main advantages of granite are its robustness and heat resistance. In homes using granite countertops, the surfaces remain like new even after ten years of use. According to a survey of 500 households, 95% of owners expressed very high satisfaction with granite countertops, with durability and aesthetics being the most praised features.
